Seamus Levine (pronounced "Shay-mus Lavigne") is a pirate veteran and current fisherman with wood for arms and legs. He is also blind in one eye, and so wears a black eye-patch. He is a blatant parody of fictional salty sea-dogs and pirates. Every time he tells the tall tale of how he sustained these injuries, the story is different every time, leaving it to be pretty much an unsolved mystery. He usually hangs out at the dock, where he lives, or the Drunken Clam, where he emerges from the shadows and drops in on a conversation with the guys, to share his piratey wisdom.
Biography[]
He first appeared in "A Fish Out of Water", working at the piratey docks. He introduced Peter to the fisherman life. He also had major roles in other episodes like this, such as "The Fat Man and the Sea" - when he competed against Peter to catch the legendary Pendragon fish - and "The Perfect Castaway".
In "Model Misbehavior", Seamus and his fisherman catch Meg, along with a bunch of fish, in a net while at sea.
In "Long John Peter", Seamus wanted to get back in the saddle and feel like a pirate once again, so he joined Peter on his piratey adventure and had a blast. It was also revealed in this episode that his penis was also a missing limb, replaced with a peg.
In "Follow the Money", Seamus started a relationship with Meg. They went on their first date at a fancy restaurant. Their relationship ended in "Treasure Map", when the duo broke up off-screen.
The Disability Story[]
It's a running gag in the show for Seamus to tell a different story every time he reminisces about how he lost his limbs, making the true story ambiguous.

Trivia[]
- He and Lois have auditioned for the same job twice: news anchor in the extended cut of "FOX-y Lady" and church organist in "Boys Do Cry".
- Seamus reveals to be a talented organist, as seen in "Boys Do Cry", where he auditions to become Quahog's church organist, performing Jerry Lee Lewis' "Great Balls of Fire".
- In the extended cut of "And Then There Were Fewer", Dr. Hartman scares Seamus with a knife, causing him to void a pile of acorns.
- Seamus' surname is revealed as "Levine" in "Valentine's Day in Quahog".
- For some reason he carries around, rolled up in one of his wooden arms, a picture of a diseased prostate, a cat doing pull ups, a map of Middle Earth, and the band Primus in "Stewie Loves Lois", seen when Peter starts having prostate troubles.
- He also has a habit of writing somewhat-lame jokes, featuring outdated terminology, and then asking whether they are successful or not, for instance in "Movin' Out (Brian's Song)", when Stewie refers to the cobbler and apothecary.
- Seamus replaces Mayor Adam West in the theme song, following West's death for about a few seasons. However, he was replaced by Mayor Wild West starting with "Fecal Matters"
- In "Follow the Money", it is revealed Seamus' phone number is (917) 555-0112.
- In "Peter & Lois' Wedding", Lois said she used to know Seamus back in the 90's. However, this is impossible, as Seamus did not get properly introduced to Lois until she met him in the present-day episode, "A Cheater Runs Through It".
- Though being said, that episode retconned a lot of previously established history in the lore of Family Guy.
