Mount Asia is an Asian-themed mountain in Quahog, where people go to seek spiritual enlightenment. It appeared in "Throw It Away".
Biography[]
In "Throw It Away", Tricia Takanawa went to Mount Asia and became spiritually enlightened on Epiphany Bridge. Afterwards, she wrote the book Throw It Away, which had teachings of the joys of decluttering one's house as well as their own minds.
Lois takes this advice to an unhealthy extreme, driving out Peter and the kids. When this fails to bring her the joy she desires, she goes to Mount Asia to find out why. Peter in the family follow, where they find her on a rope bridge, high over a river. But when Peter tries to cross to her, his movements on the bridge cause her to fall over and plummet towards the river. She is saved when she falls into a passing garbage barge and realizing that every little thing in the house brings her joy, decides to keep it all.
