Hennessey O'Callaghan is the owner of a fishing company. He was Peter's boss, during the time he worked on The S.S. More Powerful Than Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, and The Incredible Hulk Put Together. He is Peter's second long-term boss, succeeding Mr. Weed at the Happy-Go-Lucky Toy Factory and preceding Angela at the Pawtucket Brewery.

Biography

In "A Fish Out of Water", Hennessey made his debut as Peter's new boss, now that he was working as a fisherman on the S.S. More Powerful Than Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, and the Incredible Hulk Put Together. Immediately, Hennessey didn't like Peter and didn't want to work with him, so he thought of a sneaky way to trick him into failing his job. Hennessey said that he's already got enough fishermen working for him and that Peter was nothing special and that he didn't want to pay another basic fisherman just for doing the same things everyone else has already been doing.

Hennessey continued to torment and sabotage Peter's career and eventually told him that there was a legendary man-eating fish called Daggermouth that he swore Peter would never catch.

In "Mo' Jobs", Hennessey said that because Peter's boat got destroyed, he was fired from his job.

After a long absence from the series, due to plot irrelevance, Hennessey finally returned in "Another Widow Opens", when Carol went on a date with him and saw him as a potential new husband, to replace Adam West. She eventually married him, along with eleven other men and they're all her husbands to this very day. This episode also reveals to us that Hennessey is bisexual, since he was also in love with every other husband in the marriage.
