The Happy-Go-Lucky Toy Factory was a toy factory, owned by Mr. Weed, before he died and it was torn down to build a gay sex toy factory called "Homo E. Rotic Toy Factory". Peter Griffin used to be employed there, before said demolition in "Mr. Saturday Knight".
Biography[]
In "Death Has a Shadow", Peter fell asleep at the switch, when he was supposed to be monitoring the toys to make sure they were safe for children to play with. This allowed for a lot of dangerous toys to slip past the radar, causing numerous fatalities and major injuries among a widespread group of children, that could all be traced back to The Happy-Go-Lucky Toy Factory. Such deadly and dangerous toys included but were not limited to an ax, being marketed as a baseball, a box labeled Pound Poochies filled with cyanide pills, and a baby doll doll that breathed fire. When news about this broke out, the reputation of Happy-Go-Lucky Toy Factory was ruined and Mr. Weed was obviously not happy about it. Because of this, he fired Peter Griffin, only for him to get his job back in the end, by filing for a disability claim.
In "Mr. Griffin Goes to Washington", the toy factory was bought by the El Dorado Cigarette Company. During this period, the workers are bought over by a high-quality recreation center. Peter is promoted to president and is sent to make Congress veto a bill that would cripple the company. Lois sees through the ploy, but then the family is bought over by expensive gifts. Peter is about to make a speech to Congress convincing them to veto the bill until he has a change of heart when he hears Stewie coughing.
In an alternate universe where Mr. Weed didn't die in "Need for Weed", Peter got a promotion as the Head of Toy Development he was promised in "Mr. Saturday Knight" and would later become the boss of the factor when Mr. Weed "retired and stepped down" and made some massive expansions to the factory. However, it wasn't as great as it looked as Peter was an abusive boss, forcing his family and friends to work there sometimes without pay and for long hours on end, and it even being revealed that Boss! Peter killed Mr. Weed to take his power.
